Komodo Freediving Safari

A liveaboard freediving safari through Komodo's manta points and reef walls. October 19, 2026 — limited spots, run by Bali Freedivers.

Komodo Freediving Safari

4 days/3 night living on the boat with optional extension to on-land adventure

The way we love Komodo — and want to share it with you.

Komodo is not Instagram hype or glossy marketing. Its reputation among freedivers was earned the real way: by being one of the most powerful, biodiverse, and unforgettable marine environments on the planet.

Here, two oceans meet-the Pacific and the Indian-creating nutrient-rich currents that attract manta rays, reef sharks, turtles, and an endless variety of corals. On land, you find pink-sand bays, untouched islands, and Komodo dragons roaming their last natural habitat.

This expedition takes you into the real Komodo National Park — quiet corners, secret reefs, and places untouched by tourist crowds. With nine years of experience running freediving trips in Komodo and a deep love for its wild, non-touristic side, we design routes that let you connect with nature and local communities fully and authentically.

What to Expect

Life on Our Boat

We cruise on a traditional wooden liveaboard, featuring cozy bunk cabins, two shared bathrooms, a dining area, and a big open deck perfect for sunsets, stargazing, and morning breathwork. A friendly local crew prepares three delicious meals per day, plus snacks to keep you energized between dives.

Who Is This Trip For?

Freedivers, snorkelers, all ocean lovers of any age. No prior experience? Perfect — you can learn during the trip! Our certified instructors will guide the beginners with “Try Freediving” sessions and ensure absolute safety for everyone in the dynamic conditions of Komodo.
